About The Position

Coordinate and provide nutritional care and education for patients with various disease states and medical conditions. Monitor, assess and optimize nutrition status based on the patient’s current medical condition and/or nutrition adequacy.

Requirements

One year prior experience at an acute care facility.
Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and plan work activities efficiently.
Organized with the ability to multi-task, handle interruptions and work effectively in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Proficiency in technology usage, including Microsoft Office.
Excellent command of oral and written English.
Demonstrated knowledge of food service operations.
Maintain licensure and credentialing through continuing education and training.
Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas.
Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Cerner a plus.
