About The Position
Omega Healthcare Management Services is seeking an Inpatient Coder with a minimum of 3 years of experience coding for an acute care teaching and trauma level 1 facility. The role requires expertise in coding trauma and complex medical cases and surgical procedures across various specialties. Experience with Epic and 3M is necessary, along with a RHIA, RHIT, or CCS credential. This is a full-time position with flexible working hours after initial training.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience coding for an acute care teaching and trauma level 1 facility
- Experienced in coding trauma and complex medical cases and surgical procedures across a wide range of specialties
- Experience with Epic and 3M
- RHIA, RHIT, or CCS credential
- Must be able to work full time
Responsibilities
- Code trauma and complex medical cases
- Code surgical procedures across a wide range of specialties including Cardiac, Vascular, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Critical Care, Oncology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Spinal Surgery, General Medicine and Surgery.
