About The Position

As the Clinical Pharmacist I, you provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services, including drug distribution, IV admixture preparation, medication therapy management, drug information dissemination, and compliance with controlled substance regulations. Responsible for direct supervision of pharmacy support personnel. Actively fosters an environment of patient, family, physician, and staff satisfaction while focusing on ProMedica’s Mission and Values. In this role, you directly supervise pharmacy support personnel. The above summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed in this role. Requirements

  • PharmD degree or BSPharm with post-2006 experience.
  • Ability to communicate with teammates.
  • Ability to manipulate sterile and non-sterile products as needed for compounding.
  • Ability to utilize electronic health record.
  • Must be a registered pharmacist, licensed in good standing in Michigan and Ohio.
  • Single facility-based pharmacists must retain state licensure per site location.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in hospital pharmacy services including unit dose, IV admixtures, and fielding provider questions.
  • Experience in inpatient or acute care.
  • BLS – Basic Life Support
