About The Position

We are hiring for multiple Inpatient Care Manager RN opportunities. This posting is for multiple openings of Inpatient Care Manager RN with Covenant Medical Center, Lubbock, TX. Available Job Types: Full Time Available Shifts: Day Please note that this position is onsite and therefore requires the ability to commute to Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX. The Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) Care Manager provides professional, comprehensive, patient centric care management services for at risk patients in an acute care environment. Accountabilities include assessment and planning, coordination of care, resource utilization management and/or review, discharge planning, documentation of interventions, regulatory compliance and patient advocacy. The goal of the Inpatient Care Management RN is to ensure the use of appropriate healthcare resources throughout the continuum, so that the care provided is the right care, at the right time, in the right setting. Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing degree/diploma upon hire
• Texas Registered Nurse License upon hire
• 2 years Acute care nursing experience in a Medical Surgical or Inpatient setting.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within 3 years of hire.
• 1 year Experience in care management or utilization review in any setting or successful completion of TIPS program or Case Management Orientation Program.
