About The Position
The Clinical Nurse RN provides safe, compassionate nursing care in Behavioral Health. The role assesses patient needs, develops and implements individualized care plans, and evaluates outcomes using the nursing process. The RN collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams while practicing within the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and organizational and regulatory standards. This role is at the new North Kansas City location.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Missouri license as a Registered Nurse.
- Current BCLS.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent in a specific specialty.
- RN Specialty Certification.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
- Provide evidence-based nursing care based on patient needs and the clinical setting.
- Collaborate with patients, families, providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintain professional nursing standards and clinical competency.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills specific to the assigned clinical area.
- Promote quality improvement, patient and staff safety, and culturally responsive care.
- Provide compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered service.
- Participate in education, committees, program evaluation, research, and student supervision as appropriate.
- Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, organizational policies, and the Missouri Nurse Practice Act.
