About The Position

The Vines Hospital in Ocala, Florida, is actively seeking an onsite full-time BC Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist for their Adolescent Inpatient Services. Specializing in acute crisis stabilization, psychiatric care, and detox services, The Vines Hospital serves adolescents and adults struggling with addiction or mental health issues. Our programs boast a committed and expert multidisciplinary treatment team dedicated to providing the highest level of care. This is a 1099 contract position with Monday-Friday day hours, one night a week after hours telephone call, and 1:4 weekend rounding. The role involves treating patients aged 12 and older in an inpatient setting, with a multidisciplinary support team including BH Techs, BH RN, Psychiatric NPs, Social Workers, and Therapists.

Requirements

• BC in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry preferred.
• Active or eligible FL license
• Active DEA
• Comfortable treating ages 12 and older

Responsibilities

• Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for child and adolescent patients.
• Participate in daily treatment team meetings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
• Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.
