The Innovative Care Research Coordinator (ICRC) is a translational role that serves as a bridge between clinical and lab-based research within the Department of Neurology's Division of Multiple Sclerosis and Related Disorders. The purpose of this position is to liaise between the clinical and lab research teams, identifying potential candidates for research participation, conducting research visits, and ensuring the seamless flow of biological sample acquisition, data, and communications across translational research collaborations. Research generated from the samples and data collected will form the basis of future investigations into designing and implementing the mechanism of action and biological proof-of-principal of emerging therapies, and development of clinically meaningful bio-markers as part of advancing precision medicine in autoimmune and CNS-inflammatory diseases.
