The Innovation Senior Sourcing Manager leads sourcing-enabled innovation across Food & Beverage identifying new products, supplier capabilities, technologies, and solutions that support business priorities, guest needs, and brand strategy. This role partners with Merchandising, Product Development, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to translate business needs and consumer trends into actionable opportunities. The Senior Sourcing Manager leads sourcing activities from supplier discovery through commercialization and launch, while bringing forward external capabilities that create differentiation, improve speed to market, and generate long-term value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Food Science, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier management, innovation, commercialization, or related roles.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through commercialization or implementation.
  • Strong understanding of sourcing, supplier capabilities, cost structures, negotiations, and commercialization processes.
  • Proven ability to develop business cases, evaluate opportunities, and lead supplier negotiations.
  • Strong project leadership, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity, influence across functions, and connect market, consumer, and supplier trends to business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the sourcing innovation strategy and pipeline in alignment with Food & Beverage priorities, merchandising strategies, guest expectations, and enterprise objectives.
  • Partner with Merchandising and cross-functional teams to identify innovation opportunities based on business needs, consumer trends, assortment gaps, and supplier capabilities.
  • Identify and evaluate new suppliers, products, technologies, ingredients, manufacturing capabilities, and other solutions that can create differentiation and value.
  • Build and cultivate a pipeline of emerging and high-potential suppliers, developing the capabilities, scale, quality, commercial readiness, and operational maturity required to support future Owned Brand opportunities.
  • Lead supplier discovery, capability assessments, RFIs/RFPs, commercial evaluations, negotiations, and other sourcing activities required to enable innovation and commercialization.
  • Develop business cases and ROI assessments and provide clear recommendations to support prioritization and go/no-go decisions.
  • Partner with Product Development, Operations, Merchandising, Marketing, Quality, and suppliers to support the progression of approved concepts through commercialization and launch.
  • Identify and mitigate sourcing and supplier-related risks, including cost, capacity, readiness, lead times, scalability, and supply continuity.
  • Manage the innovation portfolio, providing visibility to milestones, risks, decisions, and progress to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Track outcomes and value delivered through innovation initiatives and apply learnings to strengthen the innovation process.
