About The Position
Belden’s US Internship Program offers current students an opportunity to work on important business projects, collaborate with experienced managers and deliver real results for the organization. Over 12 weeks, you will gain hands-on experience crafting business solutions while developing project management skills, interpersonal skills, and function-specific knowledge. As a member of our 2027 US Internship Program, you’ll be fully immersed in a global team of experts eager to teach and learn from you along the way. These fast-paced, project-based internship positions are ideal for students who are interested in developing themselves professionally, while also making a substantial contribution to the company. You’ll work towards goals, deliver results, and present to business leaders. Belden’s Innovation function is a centralized organization that brings together cross-functional, technology-driven capabilities to differentiate solution offerings, drive customer-relevant outcomes, and fuel digitalization initiatives. Teams and internship opportunities within this function include R&D, Products, Platform/Software, Solutions, and Strategy & Operations. Exact internship assignments will be defined in early 2027 to ensure intern projects are focused on real-time priorities where work can have substantive impact and deliver value to all. Innovation internship roles provide opportunities to work out of locations including Chicago, IL; Richmond, IN; Carmel, IN; Tucson, AZ.
Requirements
- Current enrollment with pursuit of bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field of study combined with Business coursework and/or acumen
- Technical internship or work experience in technical writing, data analytics, project management, and/or hands-on laboratory work along with business acumen and technical curiosity
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration abilities
- High learning agility, a drive to take initiative, accountability, and a bias for action
- Willingness to relocate for rotational assignments
- Authorization to work in the country of employment
- Cannot provide sponsorship for employment visa status, now or in the future
