Charles Lea Center is looking to hire a full-time Innovation Coordinator in Sumner County/Surrounding counties. The primary focus of the IC is to support people to live more effective and meaningful lives by working with them to secure nontraditional services that encompass a combination of staff supports and enabling technologies. This includes residential, employment, and community supports. Key areas include assessment, person centered / MAP's planning, linking people to services, training, and advocacy. The Charles Lea Center is a CQL accredited organization that is based in Spartanburg South Carolina and provides services in South Carolina, and North Carolina and recently was awarded a contract with the Tennessee Department Disability and Aging (DDA) to provide services in their State. We are looking for an Innovation Coordinator to help us develop and implement a unique and new service in Tennessee designed to help young adults in the communities where they live, learn, work, and play. Using a unique approach built around person centered, employment first, and technology first thinking. We are looking for an Innovation Coordinator who is grounded in person centered thinking and one who can foster a creative and forward-thinking approach to providing services in Tennessee.
