Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
One to three months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Occasional standing and walking.
Occasional talking or hearing.
Manual lifting not to exceed 50 lbs.
Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Supplying the pressroom with all applied materials required for the manufacture of our product line.
Following established color matching and color control procedures for the department.
Performing all necessary recording functions, labeling of each batch/drum, inventory ticket, and batch ticket.
Assisting the shift supervisor as required.
Blending or preparing, as required, all other applied materials for each press run, including solvents, lacquers, and adhesives.
Maintaining a supply of materials throughout the press runs.
Receiving of materials and rotating stock, which includes forklift operations.
Following all department and plant safety procedures and actively participating in safety programs.
