Requirements

Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
Have previous manufacturing experience of at least 6 months
Have forklift experience
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Have basic math, communications and mechanical skills
Be capable of managing multiple tasks
Demonstrate good knowledge of Microsoft Suite (MS Office) programs

Nice To Haves

Understanding of 5S workplace
Knowledge of TPM
Ability to work 10-hour shifts
Ability to work overtime and on weekends

Responsibilities

Tend mills in a safe and efficient manner to grind the raw materials for manufacturing of high-quality printing ink.
Follow batch instructions to weight batches, charge and mix inks.
Understand proper mixing procedures and raw materials.
Monitor temperature and mix speeds and adjusting as needed.
Follow procedures for milling inks, adjusting pump speeds and mill rates.
Follow procedures to filter, package and label inks.
Make QC adjustments as instructed.
Weight quantities of raw materials for use in the manufacturing of high quality printing ink.
Operate one or more mixers in a safe and efficient manner to mix raw materials for the manufacturing of high quality printing ink.
Package the finished product.
Operate a forklift.
