About The Position
ApexNetwork Physical Therapy has an immediate need for an experienced Industrial Injury Prevention Specialist in Greenville, IL. This position is responsible for providing onsite injury prevention and management as well as health improvement programs for employees. The goals of the position are to provide injury prevention services, early intervention services, and participate in ergonomic assessments.
Requirements
- Must be a licensed Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist, or a certified Athletic Trainer, eligible to practice in the state of Illinois
- Bachelor's degree in related field (Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Exercise Science / Physiology, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or related field)
- State licensure / certification
- Current First Aid / CPR / AED certification
Nice To Haves
- Ergonomic Certification or training preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite injury prevention and management
- Provide health improvement programs for employees
- Provide injury prevention services
- Provide early intervention services
- Participate in ergonomic assessments
- Administer and supervise program according to safe and established protocol
- Provide hot or cold therapy, massage, non-rigid supports, kinesiotaping
- Provide non-pharmacological pain management and modalities
- Provide 1:1 body mechanics and functional movement training
- Provide range of motion and flexibility exercise programs
- Develop site-wide educational resources and events
- Conduct office ergonomics consultation and assessments
- Provide educational and professional advice to employees on injury prevention and health
