About The Position

Strategic Resources, Inc. (SRI) is seeking Injury Prevention Specialists to support Army National Guard H2F Performance Teams. The IPS will design and implement injury-prevention initiatives focused on identifying musculoskeletal injury risk factors, assessing movement patterns, supporting safe training practices, providing reconditioning education, and improving Soldier readiness and performance. The position will work collaboratively with other H2F professionals and unit medical personnel to improve injury prevention and return-to-duty readiness.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field.
  • Certification as an Athletic Trainer or licensure as a Physical Therapist is highly desired.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant post-graduate experience providing injury-risk assessments, reconditioning education, and sports-performance enhancement services to athletes, military personnel, or other high-performing groups.
  • Must maintain applicable professional credentials, licenses, and certifications.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be willing and able to work flexible schedules and travel in support of Army National Guard training requirements.
  • Must meet applicable Tier 1 investigation requirements. Certain positions/locations may require Interim Secret or Secret eligibility as designated by the Government.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, or Kinesiology preferred.
  • Sports-performance certifications preferred.
  • Additional injury-prevention/movement-assessment certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and adapt multi-level injury-prevention assessments and reconditioning programs.
  • Identify injury-risk factors and assess movement patterns.
  • Develop resources addressing assessments, recovery techniques, rehabilitation, and reconditioning.
  • Train Soldiers in evidence-based reconditioning and recovery skills.
  • Support efforts to reduce musculoskeletal injury risk.
  • Improve return-to-duty readiness for Soldiers returning from injury.
  • Coordinate with HPT and unit medical personnel on reconditioning programs.
  • Coach and mentor H2F Integrators and medical personnel.
  • Provide technical guidance and hands-on training related to injury-risk assessment, reconditioning, exercise instruction, and safety.
  • Develop and contribute to H2F onboarding curricula, resource libraries, mentorship packages, reports, and implementation strategies.
  • Participate in HPT meetings, planning sessions, and working groups.
  • Travel to supported Army National Guard locations and training events.
