The Injection Molding Technician is responsible for the initial start-up and processing of all molding machines, robots, and auxiliary equipment. This role involves participating in the set-up and sampling of new, transferred, and modified molds. The technician must be able to debug and take corrective action on molds and processes as needed, and collaborate with tooling and maintenance personnel. They will also work with engineering, plant personnel, customers, and vendors in all areas of technical processing. A thorough knowledge of commodity and engineering grade resins and their properties is required. The technician will notify appropriate personnel of maintenance needs for equipment and complete all required paperwork. Additionally, they must understand and adhere to Mack Molding's ISO policies and procedures, follow all safety rules and regulations, and maintain Mack's standard of housekeeping. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor may also be part of this role.
