About The Position

The Injection Molding Technician III is responsible for maintaining the daily operation of molding machines. The Injection Molding Technician III ensures that the machine is making a quality part and machine productivity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered
• Forklift Certification
• Five or more years related experience
• Basic Computer Skills
• Basic problem solving or troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work with a team
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Extreme attention to details
• Significant computer skills

• Ability to train others on maintaining part quality
• Ability to train others on pulling and setting molds
• Ability to train others on PLC navigation for robot setup
• Ability to train others on checking moisture content of material

• Ability to train others on screw cleaning
• Ability to train others on basic molding machine maintenance
• Ability to train others on troubleshooting molding machine issues

Responsibilities

• Maintaining Molding Equipment (Molding Machine, Dryer, Grinder, etc.)
• Maintain Quality of the Parts
• Pull and Set Molds
• Navigate PLC to change Robot Setup
• Check Moisture Content of Material
• Read and understand small quality testing equipment (Calipers, Mics, etc.)
• Maintaining Molds (change date stamp and mold cleaning)
• Screw cleaning
• Basic Molding Machine Maintenance
• Troubleshoot Issues with molding Machine
