About The Position

At Trelleborg, we are looking for an Injection Molding Processor to join our manufacturing team focused on creating parts for the aerospace industry. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts. Your duties will include monitoring production, inspecting parts for quality, troubleshooting process issues, performing basic machine maintenance, and ensuring production, quality, and safety standards are met. You will also support efficient operations and continuous improvement efforts by collaborating closely with the manufacturing team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of plastic injection molding experience required.
  • Ability to safely operate an overhead crane for mold changes.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift.
  • Experience using measuring tools to inspect molded parts.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and problem-solve.
  • Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds regularly throughout the workday.
  • Must be a U.S. person (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee or Refugee) as defined by ITAR.
  • Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or familiarity with scientific molding processes preferred.
  • Strong understanding of plastics processing principles and techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Issue and dry materials for production jobs.
  • Set molds and tooling using an overhead crane.
  • Process and operate injection molding machines using scientific molding techniques.
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections using measuring tools and inspection equipment.
  • Trim gates, remove flashing, and perform part marking as required.
  • Troubleshoot molding processes and perform minor machine maintenance.
  • Operate a forklift to move molds, materials, and finished products throughout the facility.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while supporting 5S initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members to support continuous improvement efforts and production goals.
