About The Position

US Conec is seeking a Molding Process Support Technician to join our manufacturing team! In this hands-on role, you will support the setup, operation, and maintenance of injection molding machines in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll work closely with Process, Tooling, Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to keep operations running efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
2+ years of experience in molding operations.
Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
Detail-oriented with a methodical approach to troubleshooting and completing tasks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Sumitomo and Sodick injection molding machines is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Start up and shut down injection molding machines according to established procedures and production priorities.
Respond to machine alarms, troubleshoot issues, and restart equipment following corrective action.
Perform routine mold cleaning and parting line preventive maintenance.
Document process setup sheets and maintain accurate records.
Clean presses of debris and purged materials.
Verify that molds are operating within established process parameters at startup.
Ensure finished parts, scrap, and runner waste are properly contained and handled.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production challenges.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe molding floor.
