About The Position

The Assembler uses a variety of hand tools, fixtures, and work instruction to accurately assemble, inspect and pack small, medium, and large injection molded protective cases. Assembles parts according to verbal and SOP work instructions and documents required information. Performs visual and in-process inspections of parts during the manufacturing process to ensure quality requirements are met; able to determine acceptable and unacceptable parts. Packs completed product into boxes with customized labels to ensure identification and traceability to customer requirements. Performs re-inspection, re-work, sorting and cleaning of plastic parts, as requested. Rotates through different tasks on the assembly line. Operates auxiliary equipment such as drilling fixtures and pin installation fixtures. Keeps work area clean and organized. Returns all equipment to storage designated area upon work completion.

Requirements

  • Willingness to be cross-trained in different tasks.
  • Ability to rotate throughout Manufacturing Cases and Component Molding.
  • Knowledge of and ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand for an entire shift and possess manual dexterity.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks and follow manufacturing procedures.
  • Ability to work with a safety-first culture and adhere to all safety requirements at all times.
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15) due to facility compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
