About The Position
We are seeking a dependable Mold Setup Operator to support production in a manufacturing environment. This role will assist with mold changes, machine setup, troubleshooting, and maintaining safe production operations. Candidates with mechanical ability, manufacturing experience, or crane/forklift experience are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude required
- Overhead crane or forklift experience is required
- Ability to work safely around machinery
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Willingness to learn and grow
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with mold changes and machine setup
- Operate overhead cranes safely during mold changes
- Support machine startups and basic adjustments
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Inspect parts for quality
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and safety procedures
- Maintain production records and work areas
- Support preventive maintenance and continuous improvement efforts
