About The Position
Volt is immediately hiring an Injection Mold Operator (1st shift) in Chicopee, MA 01022. As an Injection Mold Operator you will produce high-quality plastic microplates used in laboratories worldwide. This is a full-time opportunity with a schedule of Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Previous experience as an Injection Mold Operator, Machine Operator, Production Operator, Manufacturing Associate, or Equipment Operator
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
- Ability to follow written work instructions and manufacturing procedures
- Stable work history with demonstrated reliability and attendance
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Responsibilities
- Operate injection molding machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Perform quality inspection of plastic molded parts
- Package, stack, and bag finished products
- Enter production data into computerized manufacturing systems
- Follow standard operating procedures, manufacturing instructions, and quality requirements
- Use measuring tools and inspection equipment to verify product quality
- Track production output, scrap, and downtime
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production area
- Follow all company safety policies, GMP practices, and ISO quality standards
