About The Position

We are looking for an experienced machine operator that will operate and maintain reaction injection molding machinery to produce parts according to customer specifications. This will be a 2nd shift position and include a 10% shift differential. This position will be located at our Filbert St. Hanover, PA plant.

Requirements

HS Diploma/GED or equivalent industrial experience.
Minimum 1 year’s experience required for machine operations.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics.
Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English.

Nice To Haves

Forklift operation experience preferred

Responsibilities

May work with an Assistant Operator to complete job duties.
Procures and completes MOs, Quality Checklists, and any other job-specific paperwork in a timely manner.
Audits any materials lists for accuracy and proper material staging.
Loads/removes product to/from production workspaces.
Operates Reaction Injection Molding (RIM) machine, adhering to all OSHA and EPA guidelines.
Assists with setup and tear-down of RIM equipment, under the direction of a Setup Technician.
May be required to handle or dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with all environmental laws and OSHA regulations.
Deburrs and prepares product for next operation or workstation.
Cuts scrap product for recycling or grinding using electric cutting equipment.
May be required to operate Powered Industrial Trucks (P.I.T.s/Forklifts)
Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
Other tasks as assigned.
