About The Position

The Initiative Lead (Senior Project Manager) ensures successful execution by coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines and budgets, and driving measurable business outcomes in the Hospitality Industry (Hotel, Cruise, Loyalty, Booking, Food Service). The Managing Project Manager will lead high‑impact initiatives across the Commerce and Omni‑Channel ecosystem within the Hospitality and Travel industries, focusing on digital commerce transformation, guest experience enhancement, and modernization of on‑property and onboard technologies. This role is responsible for driving end‑to‑end delivery of programs that unify digital and physical guest interactions spanning booking engines, mobile apps, loyalty platforms, property and shipboard systems, and partner channels; to create seamless, revenue‑generating, guest‑centric journeys. Project Managers are responsible for overseeing the project/engagement/contract/activity on a daily basis and are responsible for delivering high-quality results within the identified objectives and constraints, ensuring the effective use of the allocated resources. They are responsible for risk and issue management, project/engagement communication and stakeholder management. Project managers perform the activities of planning, organising, securing, monitoring and managing the resources and work necessary to deliver specific project goals and objectives in an effective and efficient way. Responsible for leading either a large contractorengagement or a definable segment of a very large and complex contractorengagement. Clients may be external or internal. PM are responsible for the translation of the clients complex business requirements into formal agreements. For these, PM establish specific solutions, applications or processes which ultimately culminate in customer acceptance of the results. This includes working with client team members and executives to identify business requirements and subsequently working with, and leading others, in the initiating, planning, controlling, executing and closing the clients solution. PM are responsible for a wide range of process activities beginning with the request for proposal through development, and final delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Hospitality Industry SME - Hotel, Travel, Loyalty Programs, Booking, Food Service, etc.
  • 7+ years of experience in program, project, or initiative management.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own full lifecycle of strategic initiatives from ideation through execution and value realization.
  • Define scope, objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and success criteria.
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise strategy and portfolio priorities.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across IT, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and other business units.
  • Develop and manage initiative roadmaps, timelines, and resource plans.
  • Track progress against scope, schedule, and budget; ensure delivery discipline.
  • Manage stakeholder communications, including executive reporting and governance updates.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Partner with Finance to develop and track business cases and ROI realization.
  • Drive change management, adoption, and organizational readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with governance frameworks and reporting standards.
  • Continuously improve processes and contribute to best practices.
