About The Position
SunSoft Online is seeking Entry Level Initiative Clerks for a contract opportunity with an Arizona State Agency in Phoenix. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone seeking short term government experience or looking to get a foot in the door with an Arizona state agency.
Requirements
- High school diploma minimum
- Basic knowledge of policy, government, public administration, or law
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Professional office conduct
- Local Phoenix AZ only - must be able to commute daily
- US Citizen or Green Card - no sponsorship
- Background check required
- Must be available June 29 through July 31
Nice To Haves
- Coursework in public policy, public administration, government or law
- Demonstrated interest in public service
- Experience in office or administrative settings
Responsibilities
- Review and process initiative petitions and related documents
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems
- Support election services operations
- Apply basic knowledge of policy and government procedures
- Maintain objectivity and nonpartisan approach in all work
- Perform general office and administrative duties
