About The Position

TeamBuilders Employment & Business Solutions is recruiting for an Ingredient Batch Mixer to join a Food Production facility in Fresno, CA. The Ingredient Batch Mixer will be responsible for preparing, mixing and production of ingredients for final baking of ready-to-eat products per the daily production schedule and under the guidance of the Operations Manager Monday through Thursday. The Ingredient Batch Mixer position is being offered on a part-time to full-time basis, temp to hire and will become permanent. The hours of the position will be Monday through Thursday between the hours of 6:00 AM and 2:30 PM. The starting pay rate is $20.00 per hour. It is possible that Friday's will be added to the schedule in the near future however, it is not guaranteed at this time.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Food Production handling ingredient mixing, batch mixing, baking, sheeting, etc.
  • Strong understanding of Food Safety, Sanitation and GMP’s in Food Production
  • Professional communication skills required; Interpersonal, Verbal and Written
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management and organizational skills and a high level of accuracy required
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Compliance of all safety rules and regulations
  • Ability to perform general physical activities- Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of all required materials
  • Capable of performing duties with minimal supervision while ensuring productivity levels are being met or exceeded

Responsibilities

  • Performing all required quality assurance tests for weight, size and shape of product
  • Sheeting dough products for final baking
  • Ensuring speed control; mechanical and AC inverted speed drives
  • Recording raw product weight and report to Operations Manager
  • Prepare slurry per daily production specifications
  • Changing die roll cutter on conveyor for each product
  • Maintain production and processing equipment
  • Maintain compliance with all food safety guidelines, quality control measures and ensure daily production goals are met
  • Ensure all machinery, utensils and equipment are sanitized properly
  • Support fresh bread baking operations as necessary
  • Ensure fresh bread meets weight, color and appearance standards
  • Ensure proper amount of supplies are on hand and/or ordered as needed
  • Prepare Fresh Bread Checklist
  • Additional related duties as required
