About The Position

Soitec is a publicly traded company on the Paris Stock Exchange, operating upstream in the microelectronics value chain. Their innovative semiconductor materials are crucial for smartphones and 5G deployment, and offer significant opportunities for connected cars, electric and autonomous vehicles, and embedded intelligence in connected objects. This position carries a great responsibility: enabling the mass adoption of technological innovations while significantly limiting their environmental impact, in a logic of responsible innovation and sustainable development. In an industrial environment based on M2M (Machine To Machine) communication, testing phases are a key element at different levels: facilitating development/debugging, securing deliverables, and limiting testing/validation phases on machines (24/7 production factory). To meet these constraints, some tests are currently performed on a simulator platform. To optimize performance, Soitec wishes to continue the development of a new generic test platform to address these various issues. Within the IT department, you will join the CIM team, responsible for developing all automations and applications around the production of Soitec's products. The objective of your apprenticeship is to continue the development of a generic equipment simulator.

Requirements

• Student in an engineering school or a master's degree specialized in computer science
• Looking for an apprenticeship for 12 or 24 months
• Ability to deepen skills in .Net technologies, UML, and Hexagonal Architecture
• Passionate about technology
• Recognized for proactivity and tenacity
• Demonstrates seriousness, autonomy, and good communication skills

Responsibilities

• Appropriate automation scenarios
• Study existing developments and understand the functional aspects of the existing simulator
• Understand the automation/equipment communication language (SecsGem)
• Participate in writing a simple technical specification
• Propose HMI designs
• Implement HMI designs
• Validate implementations using a unit test plan
