Through this role in P&WC’s Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) engineering division, the employee will gain invaluable hands-on experience and deeply enhance their technical knowledge of diverse engine families across various stages of their lifecycles. By conducting real-time damage assessments and troubleshooting complex issues during engine assembly, disassembly, and testing, the employee will master root-cause analysis and develop compliant, high-performance technical solutions that align with strict engine certification standards. Additionally, the employee will learn to evaluate engine deviations, manage special work scopes, and validate overhaul manuals. Beyond technical skills, this position offers the opportunity to cultivate leadership and global collaboration competencies by interfacing with a worldwide network of service centers, providing hands-on training to shop personnel, conducting rigorous product audits, and translating complex technical data into strategic, customer-focused action plans. The position is based at our office in Saint Hubert location, from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

Requirements

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
  • Looking for 10 years progressive experience in Aerospace, Aftermarket, Operations, or similar functional expertise
  • Experience with maintenance, repair and overhaul documentation and processes.
  • Good P&WC engine families technical knowledge
  • Experience with assembly/disassembly of P&WC engines
  • This position is part of a French speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues

  • PT6A engines assembly & disassembly experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and drive customer satisfaction at all levels (internal and/or external)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage product performance and delivery, to meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
  • Ability to translate technical data into action plans and strategy
  • AS9100 Lead Auditor certification

Responsibilities

  • Analysis of technical issues related to assembly, disassembly and test of PWC engines to determine root cause and recommend corrective action.
  • Evaluate engine deviations and special workscopes requirements exceeding approved limits and provide disposition.
  • Review and validate disassembly and assembly instructions in overhaul manuals.
  • Support technical inquiries from PWC owned shops and DOF/TSA network
  • Provide guidance and training to shop personnel in performing maintenance procedures and techniques in regards of P&WC engines overhaul.
  • Perform product audits in P&WC DOF/TSA network to confirm MRO processes are performed in accordance with P&WC requirements.
