About The Position

We are looking for someone to be a part of a dynamic team as a Data Engineer for one of our clients to support enterprise data platforms within Trade Enrichment Data Reporting & Allocations. The role focuses on DB2, Snowflake, and Python to ensure stable, reliable data processing across trading, risk, and regulatory reporting systems. This role requires flexibility for occasional weekend releases and production upgrades.

Requirements

• Approximately 3-5 years of experience in data or database engineering
• Strong experience with DB2
• Experience with Snowflake
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience supporting production systems and releases
• Understanding of ETL or data pipelines
• Occasional weekend work required for releases and upgrades
• Must be local to Montreal
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain DB2 and Snowflake-based data platforms.
• Develop Python scripts for automation and data processing.
• Support production releases, upgrades, and operational activities.
• Assist in data platform modernization and migration efforts.
• Perform root cause analysis and improve system stability.
• Ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance across systems.
