About The Position

Infusion RN under Providence Portland Medical Center with work location at Providence Newberg Medical Center Satellite Clinic. This is a Part-Time (0.8 FTE), Day Shift position. This position is based at a satellite clinic located in the Providence Newberg Medical Center Campus, but it is part of the Providence Portland Medical Center (PPMC) system. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients in an oncology clinic or infusion center environment. Working with a preceptor initially and assuming increasing responsibility, the RN 1 is accountable for the delivery of coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, evidence-based quality care to patients and families, based on individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan. Practices in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in the state of employment, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the ANA scope and standards of practice. Requirements

  • Nursing degree/diploma upon hire.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • License in states wherever care is delivered.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing; encouraged to obtain within 3 years of hire.
