About The Position

Corewell Health is establishing a new infusion therapy location in Norton Shores, serving the greater Muskegon community. This clinic will feature 7 chairs and will offer non-oncology infusion therapies, allowing patients to receive care closer to home. This expansion enhances Corewell Health's capacity to meet community needs. Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, offering diverse primary care and specialty practices, which provides opportunities for staff to explore various interests or specialize. The role is responsible and accountable for the nursing care management of assigned patients, collaborating with the Nurse Manager and healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. This involves using clinical judgment to diagnose and treat patient responses to health conditions, and assessing, monitoring, detecting, planning, and acting to prevent potential physiological complications.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree Nursing
• Bachelor’s Degree Nursing must be obtained within 5 years for those who start in this RN role on or after January 1, 2017
• Registered Nurse (RN) - State of Michigan Upon Hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association 90 Days or Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Red Cross 90 Days

Responsibilities

• Responsible and accountable for the overall nursing care management of an assigned group of patients.
• Collaborates with the Nurse Manager and other members of the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat the patient's responses to actual or potential health conditions.
• Assesses, monitors, detects, plans, and takes appropriate action to prevent potential physiological complications associated with specific health problems and / or medical treatment.
