About The Position

This posting is for multiple openings of Infusion RN at ACC Covenant Children's Hospital in Lubbock, TX. We are hiring for the following opportunities: Per Diem or On Call, Day Shift. Please note that this position is onsite and therefore requires the ability to commute to the Joe Arrington Cancer Research and Treatment Center (JACC) in Lubbock, TX. The outpatient Infusion Nurse has knowledge of oncology, chemotherapy administration, side effects, infusion therapy, blood product administration, pain management, knowledge and skills with port-a-caths, and all venous access devices. The Infusion Nurse applies the nursing process in direct patient care and coordinates the interdisciplinary team to intervene according to assessment findings. Requirements

• Nursing degree/diploma
• Texas Registered Nurse License upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• 2 cancer-related CEs or OCN certification
• 1 year of nursing experience
• 1 year of oncology experience
• Chemotherapy administration experience
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 1 year of hire
