About The Position

Prairie Ridge Health is looking for a team member to join our Prairie Ridge Health Clinic in the role of Infusion RN. This position is a 0.5 FTE (20 hours per week) and will work Monday-Friday, and every third weekend. This position will be responsible for the provision of nursing care based on standards of care and professional nursing practice; accountable for the outcomes of nursing care delivered in the outpatient infusion services setting. The Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the provision of nursing care based on standards of care and professional nursing practice; accountable for the outcomes of nursing care delivered in the outpatient infusion services setting. The Infusion Registered Nurse will provide safe, effective, appropriate and comprehensive infusion services to all assigned patients. The infusion nurse demonstrates, through patient care and education, both specialized knowledge and experience in infusion therapy. Maintains evidence of training and continued education in infusion specific opportunities. Works effectively with patients, families, staff, physicians and other health care providers with a high level of customer service orientation. May be required to work on other units according to the distribution of staff and patients and individual competency.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Valid nursing license as recognized by state of Wisconsin
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within 90 days of hire
• A minimum of two years clinical experience
