About The Position

VIVO Infusion is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Infusion Registered Nurse to provide safe, effective, and compassionate patient care in accordance with state and federal regulations, company policies, and clinical guidelines. The role serves VIVO's Colorado clinics and includes administering infusion treatments, calculating and mixing prescription medications, performing accurate IV insertions, and monitoring patients before, during, and after treatments. The position is per diem, with weekday shifts as needed from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and includes mileage reimbursement when traveling to the clinic furthest from the employee's home address. The role reports to the Clinical Operations Manager.

The nurse provides direct patient care, completes admission and ongoing assessments, documents and reports patient assessments, and maintains complete and timely electronic charting. Additional duties include supporting inventory and supply ordering, communicating with providers via telehealth as needed, contributing to continuous quality improvement activities, reviewing assigned daily treatment run/flow sheets, and supervising assigned unlicensed direct patient care team members. The nurse must demonstrate competency in facility policies and procedures and comply with HIPAA requirements.

The work takes place indoors in a medical office and is generally quiet, with sounds from medical equipment. The role involves regular sitting, talking and/or hearing, and handling or reaching; occasional standing, walking, climbing or balancing, and other listed movements; and lifting up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Requirements

• Current and valid state professional nurse licensure.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing associate's or bachelor's degree program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• At least 1 year of IV experience.
• Demonstrated record of and commitment to safety and excellence.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to independently complete accurate dose calculations and mix medications regularly.
• Ability to read and interpret safety requirements, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to perform the essential duties satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.

Nice To Haves

• ONC certification.

• Certification in a specialty or CRNI (Certified RN Infusion) certification.
• ICU/ED experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a knowledgeable, skillful, consistent, and attentive manner within the scope of practice.
