About The Position

VIVO Infusion is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Infusion Registered Nurse to provide safe, effective, and attentive patient care in accordance with state and federal regulations, company policies, and clinical guidelines. The role includes administering infusion treatments, calculating and mixing prescription medications, performing accurate IV insertions, and monitoring patients before, during, and after treatment to support their comfort and well-being. The position is based at VIVO Infusion’s Dallas, Texas medical office and reports to the Clinical Operations Manager. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and the role is non-exempt.

Requirements

• Current and valid state professional nurse licensure.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing associate or bachelor’s degree program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• At least one year of IV experience.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and excellence.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to complete accurate dose calculations and independently mix medications on a regular daily basis.
• Ability to read and interpret safety requirements, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to perform the essential duties satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.

Nice To Haves

• ONC certification.

• Specialty certification or CRNI (Certified Registered Nurse Infusion).
• ICU or emergency department experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a knowledgeable, skillful, consistent, and attentive manner within the scope of practice.
• Calculate, mix, and administer prescription medications daily.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after infusion treatment.
• Assist with managing inventory and ordering supplies.
• Document and report patient assessments to medical staff and other healthcare team members on an ongoing basis.
• Perform skillful and accurate IV insertions.
• Communicate with providers via telehealth as needed.
• Assist in implementing continuous quality improvement activities.
• Perform admission and ongoing patient assessments.
• Complete assigned daily treatment run/flow-sheet reviews.
• Demonstrate competency in facility policies and procedures to ensure compliance with clinical and technical requirements.
• Supervise assigned unlicensed direct patient care team members.
• Enforce and follow HIPAA compliance policies.
• Complete accurate daily electronic charting and reporting efficiently and on time.
