About The Position

IVX Health is hiring a full-time contracted Registered Nurse to provide specialized infusion and injection therapy in an outpatient setting in Brandon, Florida. The contract runs from November through the end of April. The nurse will administer treatments, assess and monitor patients, and coordinate care with patients, families, referring providers, and multidisciplinary teams. The position works 4–5 days per week and includes at least two Saturdays per month. Work may take place at multiple facilities within a designated market as needed.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification.
• Strong IV and infusion therapy skills, including experience with specialty biologics, medication management, and emergency response protocols.
• Experience with EHR systems and a strong understanding of HIPAA and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Nice To Haves

• PALS certification.
• Clinical experience in an ambulatory infusion center, outpatient specialty clinic, or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and virtual supervision while administering infusions and injections.
• Conduct patient assessments, document observations, and monitor treatment responses.
• Educate and support patients and families about treatment expectations, potential side effects, and disease management.
• Maintain accurate records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, review nursing documentation, and uphold HIPAA and OSHA standards.
• Assist with chart preparation and treatment planning to streamline patient visits.
• Collaborate with referring providers and cross-functional teams to enhance care coordination.
• Assist with inventory management, prior authorizations, and regulatory adherence.
• Work at multiple facilities within a designated market as needed.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support patient care and organizational objectives.
