WE CELEBRATE YOU! We are actively hiring an Infusion Nurse (Oncology) to support our Valkyrie Clinical Trials Century City, CA site.

Requirements

Active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
ONS/ONCC certification strongly preferred
GCP certification preferred
BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
Minimum 2+ years' experience as an oncology infusion nurse
Clinical research experience strongly preferred
Proficiency in IV infusion, vascular access, port care, injections, and phlebotomy required
Proficient with EMR/EHR platforms
Working knowledge of clinical research methods preferred
Critical thinking with strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and align with operations
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively, compassionately, and professionally with patients and guests, physicians, employees, and all others
Excellent computer skills to include EMR, Office365 and other products
Experience in reviewing Standard Operating Procedures preferred
Strong problem solving, risk assessment and impact analysis abilities
Demonstrated experience in process improvement
Flexible, able to multi-task, and prioritize competing demands
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Ability to think and work independently with minimal supervision
Possess strong clinical nursing and patient care skills

Responsibilities

Perform IV infusion and IM/SQ injections of blinded and unblinded investigational products according to study protocols
Obtain blood specimens and other biological samples from study participants/patients following proper clinical procedures
Ensure accurate and timely source documentation in compliance with GCP and sponsor guidelines
Monitor participants/patients for infusion reactions and adverse events and report and document findings per protocol, regulatory requirements, and site SOPs
Maintain confidentiality and integrity of study data and all participant/patient information
Collaborate with investigators, study coordinators, pharmacy, and other clinical staff to ensure protocol compliance
Participate in training sessions and maintain current knowledge of clinical trial procedures and safety standards
Represent Flourish Research in a professional and courteous manner (verbal, written and in appearance) when interacting with all staff, clients, and vendors
Communicate effectively, compassionately, and professionally with patients and guests, physicians, employees, and all others
