About The Position
Local Infusion is seeking a Full-Time Infusion Nurse (RN) for their Toms River, NJ location. Local Infusion is a rapidly growing provider in the United States, focused on transforming the specialty infusion industry by offering exceptional, patient-centered care supported by proprietary AI-driven technology. This approach aims to improve access, streamline workflows, and enhance outcomes for all stakeholders. The role allows clinicians to reduce administrative tasks and dedicate more time to direct patient care, fostering a more connected healthcare experience. The Infusion Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care at the Toms River center(s), ensuring patients receive the highest standard of infusion therapy. The ideal candidate will be experienced in autonomous work, proficient in starting IVs, and familiar with biologic drugs. This position offers predictable hours, autonomy, and a manageable workload with a consistent 3:1 patient-to-clinician ratio, positioning the nurse at the forefront of healthcare innovation.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in New Jersey, and open to getting licensure in another state
- Experience in outpatient infusion therapy, working in a clinical setting, seeing multiple patients at one time
- Comfortable working autonomously, inserting 5+ peripheral IVs per shift
- Current BLS CPR certification
- Excellent IV skills (infusion therapy experience a plus)
- Experience and strong familiarity utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- Ability to work 1 to 2 Saturday's a month

Responsibilities
- Assess and document the health status of the patient
- Deliver infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols and organization guidelines
- Assist in maintaining medical inventory and supplies
- Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers, such as order clarification, patient status, and plan of care
- Provide onsite supervision for all patients
