Full-Time Float Infusion Nurse (RN) - Stoneham & Waltham, MA
About The Position
Local Infusion is seeking a passionate Infusion Nurse to join their growing team. This role focuses on providing direct patient care at their Stoneham & Waltham, Massachusetts centers, ensuring patients receive the highest level of care in infusion therapy. The ideal candidate will have experience working autonomously, starting IVs, and working with biologic drugs. This position offers predictable hours, autonomy, and a manageable workload with a consistent 3:1 patient to clinician ratio, allowing nurses to focus on patient care and innovation. Local Infusion aims to transform the specialty infusion industry by combining exceptional, patient-centered care with AI-driven technology to improve access, simplify workflows, and enhance outcomes for all stakeholders.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in Massachusetts, and open to getting licensure in another state
- Experience in outpatient infusion therapy, working in a clinical setting, seeing multiple patients at one time
- Comfortable working autonomously, inserting 5+ peripheral IVs per shift
- Current BLS CPR certification
- Excellent IV skills (infusion therapy experience a plus)
- Experience and strong familiarity utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- Ability to work 1 to 2 Saturday's a month
- Depending on the needs of the center, must be open to flex to other centers

Responsibilities
- Assess and document the health status of the patient
- Deliver infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols and organization guidelines
- Assist in maintaining medical inventory and supplies
- Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers, such as order clarification, patient status, and plan of care
- Provide onsite supervision for all patients
