About The Position

Join our team of compassionate healthcare professionals dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients! This part-time Per Diem position involves providing in-suite patient care, mixing and setting up medications, initiating and maintaining IV access, safely administering IV infusions, monitoring patients during infusions, managing complications, communicating with physician practices, documenting visits, tracking inventory, and creating a calm, safe, and professional atmosphere. The ideal candidate is warm, compassionate, empathetic, passionate about helping people, organized, excels at working independently, and possesses highly adept IV skills.

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing and a current RN state license.
• 7 years nursing experience.
• 5 years infusion experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of in-suite patient care.
• Mix and set-up all medications.
• Initiate and maintain IV access.
• Safely and accurately administer IV infusions.
• Monitor patients during infusion process.
• Appropriately manage treatment complications.
• Facilitate communication with the physician practice.
• Document visits via electronic medical record.
• Track supplies inventory and reorder as needed.
• Create calm, safe and professional atmosphere.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
