We’re looking for a Full‑Time Home Infusion Registered Nurse who wants their work to mean something — someone who brings clinical expertise, compassion, and accountability to every patient interaction. This role plays an important part in helping LUX Infusion deliver a patient‑first experience by providing high‑quality infusion care directly in patients’ homes. In this role, you’ll contribute to work that helps patients feel safe, supported, and confident receiving infusion therapy at home, supports physicians, caregivers, and internal teams through clear communication and dependable clinical coordination, and ensures continuity of care for patients managing complex therapies beyond traditional clinical settings. Everything we do connects back to real people navigating complex healthcare journeys — and this role helps bring expert care, comfort, and reassurance into the home.

Requirements

  • A current RN license in New York
  • At least two years of RN experience
  • IV certification
  • Experience with central line care and management
  • Strong medical‑surgical, phlebotomy, and venous access knowledge
  • Confidence working independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent assessment, documentation, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Clear, compassionate communication with patients, caregivers, and providers
  • Comfort managing high‑acuity or stressful situations in the home environment
  • Willingness to travel locally to patient residences and healthcare facilities
  • A commitment to accountability, service excellence, and patient‑first care

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct home infusion nursing care by inserting, monitoring, and removing IVs and administering prescribed medications, blood products, and nutrition
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions, obtain vital signs, complete physical assessments and reviews of systems, and document all patient‑related activities
  • Perform venipuncture and manage venous access, including peripheral IVs and central lines (PICC, port, midline)
  • Teach patients and caregivers how to safely perform and monitor home infusion therapy
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing coordinators, directors of nursing, agencies, and internal care teams
  • Coordinate start‑of‑care and ongoing visits, confirm schedules, and communicate updates across care partners
  • Complete, review, and submit nursing notes, therapy administration reports, care plans, and progress documentation
  • Communicate patient status changes, issues, or reportable events promptly to referring providers and internal teams
  • Maintain compliance with all federal and state regulations, privacy requirements, and ethical standards
  • Participate in staffing coordination and scheduling while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
  • Drive within the state to patient residences and assigned care locations
  • Bring reliability, strong clinical judgment, and attention to detail to independent work in home settings
  • Participate annually in required legal and ethical compliance training
  • Consistently act in compliance with LUX Infusion’s legal, ethical, and compliance policies
  • Adhere to all standards and procedures outlined in the LUX Infusion Compliance Manual
  • Refrain from any behavior that could be considered unethical or unlawful
