Part-Time Infusion Nurse (RN) - Rochester, New Hampshire
About The Position
Local Infusion is seeking a Part-Time Infusion Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care at their infusion center in Rochester, NH. The role focuses on delivering the highest level of care in infusion therapy, with an emphasis on patient-centered care and leveraging technology. The Infusion Nurse will have opportunities to work autonomously, manage a predictable schedule, and maintain a manageable workload with a consistent 3:1 patient to clinician ratio. The position offers flexible scheduling with 8-hour shifts, initially for 3 days a week, with the potential to transition to full-time as the center's volume increases.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in New Hampshire
- Current BLS CPR certification
- Excellent IV skills (infusion therapy experience a plus)
- Experience and strong familiarity utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
Nice To Haves
- ACLS & PALS Certification
- Experience starting IVs
- Experience working with biologic drugs
Responsibilities
- Assess and document the health status of the patient
- Deliver infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols and organization guidelines
- Assist in maintaining medical inventory and supplies
- Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers, such as order clarification, patient status, and plan of care
- Provide onsite supervision for all patients
