About The Position
Local Infusion is seeking a Full-Time Infusion Nurse (RN) Float for the North Jersey area. Local Infusion is a rapidly growing provider in the United States dedicated to transforming specialty infusion care through exceptional, patient-centered services and AI-driven technology. Every patient and care team receives comprehensive support throughout their infusion journey. We are looking for an Infusion Nurse passionate about elevating infusion therapy care. This role involves providing direct patient care across our clinics in Emerson, Paramus, Morristown, Edison, Middletown, and Freehold, NJ, ensuring patients receive the highest standard of infusion therapy. The ideal candidate thrives in an autonomous setting, possesses strong IV insertion skills, and has experience with biologic drugs. This position offers predictable hours, autonomy, and a manageable workload with a consistent 3:1 patient-to-clinician ratio, allowing nurses to stay at the forefront of healthcare innovation.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in New Jersey, and open to getting licensure in another state
- Experience in outpatient infusion therapy, working in a clinical setting, seeing multiple patients at one time
- Comfortable working autonomously, inserting 5+ peripheral IVs per shift
- Current BLS CPR certification
- Excellent IV skills (infusion therapy experience a plus)
- Experience and strong familiarity utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- Ability to work 1 to 2 Saturday's a month

Responsibilities
- Assess and document the health status of the patient
- Deliver infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols and organization guidelines
- Assist in maintaining medical inventory and supplies
- Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers, such as order clarification, patient status, and plan of care
- Provide onsite supervision for all patients
