Full-Time Infusion Nurse (RN) Float - Fort Worth & Frisco, TX
About The Position
Local Infusion is seeking a Full-Time Infusion Nurse (RN) Float to provide direct patient care at our centers in Fort Worth & Frisco, TX. The Infusion Nurse will ensure patients receive the highest level of care in infusion therapy. This role is ideal for individuals experienced in autonomous work, starting IVs, and working with biologic drugs. The position offers predictable hours, autonomy, and a manageable workload with a consistent 3:1 patient to clinician ratio, allowing clinicians to focus more on patient care and less on paperwork. Requirements
- Current RN licensure in Texas, and open to getting licensure in another state
- Experience in outpatient infusion therapy, working in a clinical setting, seeing multiple patients at one time
- Comfortable working autonomously, inserting 5+ peripheral IVs per shift
- Current BLS CPR certification
- Excellent IV skills (infusion therapy experience a plus)
- Experience and strong familiarity utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- Ability to work 1 to 2 Saturday's a month

Responsibilities
- Assess and document the health status of the patient
- Deliver infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols and organization guidelines
- Assist in maintaining medical inventory and supplies
- Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers, such as order clarification, patient status, and plan of care
- Provide onsite supervision for all patients
