About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and clinically driven Nurse Practitioner to join our ambulatory infusion center in Phoenix, AZ . This is a full-time, onsite role providing advanced clinical care to patients receiving specialty biologic and disease-modifying therapies in a structured, outpatient setting. This position is well-suited for both experienced NPs and those earlier in their careers who are eager to develop expertise in specialty infusion. The selected candidate will receive training and support to build competency in infusion therapy, clinical protocols, and patient management within this specialized field. The NP will function with increasing clinical autonomy while collaborating closely with supervising physicians, pharmacists, and infusion nursing staff, consistent with Arizona scope-of-practice requirements.

Requirements

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program
  • Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in good standing in Arizona
  • Current or eligible collaborative/supervisory agreement , if applicable
  • New graduates or early-career NPs encouraged to apply
  • Strong interest in specialty infusion, chronic disease management, or outpatient procedural care
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong clinical judgment with a willingness to learn and develop within a structured clinical environment
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within established protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail, particularly in documentation and compliance
  • Patient-centered mindset with a commitment to professionalism and clinical excellence
  • Comfort working within EMR systems and technology-enabled workflows

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive initial and ongoing patient assessments , including history, physical exam, and clinical evaluation prior to treatment
  • Interpret laboratory and diagnostic data to support clinical decision-making and therapy appropriateness
  • Develop and manage individualized plans of care in collaboration with the prescribing provider
  • Oversee and support the administration of specialty biologic and disease-modifying infusion and injectable therapies , ensuring adherence to provider orders and clinical protocols
  • Monitor for and manage infusion-related reactions and clinical changes, escalating care when appropriate
  • Provide patient and caregiver education on therapy expectations, side effects, and disease-state considerations
  • Document all encounters accurately and timely, including HPI, ROS, assessment, plan, and appropriate ICD-10/CPT coding
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, accreditation standards (e.g., ACHC), and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and reimbursement teams to ensure coordinated and efficient care delivery
  • Support clinical quality initiatives, protocol development, and process improvement efforts
