About The Position

Dillon’s Informational Technology Group is seeking an Infrastructure System Administrator to fill an existing vacancy within our multidisciplinary team of professionals. You will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects while providing clients with a fully integrated and superior customer experience. This position is available at our London office. Candidates should have the flexibility to work shifts within the 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST window. We offer a variety of flexible work options to help balance the competing demands of work and personal life. This opportunity may be available in a hybrid work model.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience configuring and managing layer 3 switches (must have)
  • 5+ years experience configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls (must have)
  • 5+ years of experience in designing, supporting, and maintaining in large and complex IT environments (must have)
  • In-depth understanding and experience of Information Technology standards and best practices
  • Post-secondary degree in information technology or an IT related discipline or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Demonstrated experience with: Palo Alto Firewalls, Aruba/Cisco switches, Network design and implementation (LAN/WAN), Meraki wireless, Active Directory/Group Policy, VMWare vSphere/VCentre, Google Workspace Administration, Microsoft 365 Administration, Veeam or other backup and restore technologies, Windows Server, Linux Server, Cisco DUO, Data centre management, Cloud based infrastructure management including AWS, Azure, and Google
  • Ability to coordinate, prioritize and complete multiple tasks and multiple priorities
  • Strong forward thinking, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Desire to learn and explore new technologies

Nice To Haves

  • CCNA certification
  • ITIL certification
  • Network, security or infrastructure certifications such as MCSE, CISSP, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain on-premises networking systems across the entire company
  • Administer and maintain cloud networking systems (Azure)
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues
  • Administer and maintain local physical infrastructure
  • Administer and maintain local and cloud based virtual infrastructure
  • Participate in infrastructure related projects
  • Manage cloud storage environments
  • Monitor environment for stability and security alerts and react as they arise
  • Create and maintain appropriate infrastructure standards, diagrams, and procedures
  • Share accountability for after hours activities as needs arise
  • Commit to self-development and ongoing learning and professional development
  • Contribute to Dillon’s corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees
