About The Position

Are you a strategic, solutions‑driven IT leader ready to make a meaningful impact?We’re looking for an Infrastructure Support Manager who can guide the development and performance of our enterprise LAN/WAN, system servers, and telecommunication systems. In this key leadership role, you’ll not only roll up your sleeves to support critical infrastructure initiatives but also oversee and empower a talented team as you drive projects and services that support the mission of our ministry. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Infrastructure and Operations, you’ll shape the systems, strategy, and stability that keep our organization thriving.

Requirements

  • AA degree in related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with broadcast studio technology as an audio/video technician and/or audio technician, and/or equivalent education and training.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop sincere business/ministry relationships.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of media production, Audio mixers, analog and digital audio distribution and theory, audio/video asset delivery.
  • Experience installing, maintaining and repairing broadcast and/or recording studio equipment.
  • Specific software experience with Broadcast automation, FTP, HTTP, Mac OS X, MS Visio or CAD, digital audio workstations and plug ins, i.e.: AVID Pro Tools, Sony Soundforge, Adobe audition, Cubase, Apple Logic, Nuendo, Waves, Native instruments.
  • Solid understanding and experience with computer hardware repair, KVM systems, Audio cards, USB and Firewire audio devices, audio patchbays and routers.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with studio technology, ability to solder, read line drawings and create wire lists, fabricate broadcast and production studios from wiring line drawings and rack set up documentation.
  • Familiarity with computer networking both Windows and Apple.
  • Experience working in a fast paced, multi-project environment with the ability to manage shifting priorities.
  • Experience supporting a 24x7 environment is desired.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience implementing industry best practice.
  • Knowledge of Broadcasting trends, technology, products, and services is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop sincere business/ministry relationships.
  • Experience working with creative people under high pressure situations.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a radio broadcast setting preferred.
  • Ability to speak both English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and management to a team of IS Staff.
  • Lead by example in demonstrating a positive, energetic influence throughout the ministry.
  • Provide strategic and day-to-day management for assigned team, ensuring alignment of goals and ministry initiatives.
  • Recruit and develop team members by evaluating performance, providing coaching, training and mentoring opportunities in order to maximize staff performance and professional growth.
  • Determine most efficient utilization of personnel and equipment.
  • Develop, implement and monitor management information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security and legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure that standards and procedures are followed during design and implementation of information systems.
  • Monitor Infrastructure systems to ensure the highest level of performance.
  • Recommend and assist in developing plans for systems development and operations, hardware and software purchases, budget and staffing.
  • Provide reports as requested to senior management for the purpose of guiding strategic initiatives and measuring key performance indicators against assigned goals and objectives.
  • Manage computer operation scheduling, backup, storage and retrieval functions.
  • Recommend and assist in developing, maintaining and testing disaster recovery plans.
  • Stay current on Infrastructure concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Provide strategic leadership, mentoring and developing a highly competent and responsive IS team, ensuring alignment of goals and ministry initiatives with EMF’s mission.
  • Foster a learning environment where training, risk management, operational best practices, and biblical values go hand in hand with creative and entrepreneurial solution that best fulfill the ministry’s mission.
  • Provide functional leadership to Infrastructure Support departments
