You will be responsible for managing and supporting our infrastructure systems, focusing on Azure cloud services, Linux environments, and desktop support. You will also implement and maintain security best practices while ensuring compliance and participating in on-call rotations to provide operational support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or 6+ years of relevant field experience
  • 6+ years of experience with Microsoft Office, APIs Integration, Systems Management, Product Development, System Development, and Integration
  • Azure Cloud Certification required
  • Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, DevOps and TechOps
  • Proficiency in administering Microsoft applications (e.g., Office 365, SharePoint, Dynamics), ERP systems, and other enterprise software solutions
  • Familiarity with security principles and practices, including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability management
  • Cloud Architecture experience with development on AWS and Azure
  • Experience in Server/cloud administration including:
  • Operating Systems
  • Networking and VPNs
  • Security and Patch management
  • Virtualization and Containers
  • Scripting and Automation
  • Monitoring and Performance
  • Backup and Recovery
  • Desktop Support experience

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft 365 Fundamentals certification
  • AWS certification
  • ITIL certifications

Responsibilities

  • Administer and optimize Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Ensure cloud services are reliable and optimized for performance.
  • Manage and maintain Linux-based systems.
  • Regular updates and monitoring and alerting to maintain stability and security.
  • Provide desktop support for end-user devices, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Implement and monitor security controls, including vulnerability management and incident response.
  • Participate in on-call support for critical systems and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and security.
  • Employees will be required to adhere to NEXA's information security policies and procedures.
