About The Position
We're hiring an Infrastructure Solutions Design Engineer to join our team in Columbia, SC. This role offers a hybrid schedule, with onsite work required Tuesday through Thursday. Sponsorship is not available for this role; no C2C or third-party candidates. Candidates must be able to work on our W2. Ability to obtain a low-level U.S. security clearance, which requires a thorough background screening and U.S. citizenship.
Requirements
- 8 years of hands-on experience building or supporting IT infrastructure (servers and/or networks)
- Hands-on experience with IT infrastructure, including servers and networks
- Application design experience
- Solutions design experience
- Experience with GitHub
- U.S. citizenship
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Cisco ACI and Ansible for software-defined networks
Responsibilities
- Manage complex, project-driven work within the Deployment Management Methodology (DMM) framework
- Assess customer requirements and evaluate approved technical solutions from the solutions team
- Determine necessary infrastructure changes for both servers and networks
- Create detailed deployment specification documents for use by deployment teams
- Incorporate guidance from architecture, security, and operations teams
