About The Position

We are seeking Software Developers with an Infrastructure background. The ideal candidate would have experience with both Python and Java. We are open to hiring one candidate strong in Python and another strong in Java. This role requires a BS/BA degree or equivalent experience, with a strong foundation in software development using general-purpose programming languages. A good understanding of cloud, microservices, CI/CD pipelines (like Jenkins), and APIs is essential. Experience with web application development, databases, information retrieval, networking, and APIs is also valued. Familiarity with Agile, Lean philosophies, and the SDLC lifecycle process is expected. The role demands strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, clear communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Python and Java.
• Experience in System Engineering – Infrastructure Development.
• Knowledge of LDAP and Kerberos.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP Socket Programming.
• Good experience on Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with CI/CD and APIs.
• Experience with Jenkins for automation.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
• Software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages: Python, Java, C, C++, Go, Django, and TCP/IP Socket programming.
• Understanding of cloud, microservices, CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, APIs.
• Experience working with two or more from the following: web application development, database, information retrieval, networking, and APIs.
• Understanding or experience with Agile, Lean philosophies and SDLC lifecycle process.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals.
