About The Position

An established Pacific Northwest general contractor is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead complex civil and infrastructure construction projects while helping develop other members of the project management team. This is a hands-on leadership role combining direct project ownership with team development. The successful candidate will be involved from pursuit and estimating through construction and closeout, with responsibility for both project execution and financial performance.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Project Management experience within infrastructure construction.
  • Strong experience with projects involving civil, utilities, earthwork, water/wastewater, structures, or similar heavy infrastructure scopes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Experience managing projects from estimating/bid through construction and closeout.
  • Strong understanding of project financials, including cost control, forecasting, change management, and labor projections.
  • Experience developing and managing detailed CPM schedules.
  • Strong estimating and bidding background.
  • Experience managing and developing other Project Managers or project staff.
  • Strong client-facing communication and leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with construction technology such as HeavyBid, Bluebeam, scheduling software, and ERP/project-management systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead infrastructure projects involving water/wastewater, utilities, earthwork, civil construction, and structural scopes.
  • Manage projects from pursuit, estimating, and preconstruction through execution and final completion.
  • Lead and develop a small team of Project Managers while remaining directly responsible for your own projects.
  • Manage project budgets, cost controls, monthly forecasting, profitability, and labor projections.
  • Develop and maintain detailed CPM construction schedules and communicate project plans to field teams and stakeholders.
  • Lead estimating and bidding efforts, ensuring accurate and competitive proposals.
  • Manage subcontractor buyout, contracting, procurement, submittts, shop drawings, and material deliveries.
  • Identify, price, negotiate, and manage project change orders.
  • Work closely with field leadership to manage labor, production, schedule, safety, and quality.
  • Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Identify project risks early and implement solutions to protect schedule and financial performance.
  • Mentor less-experienced Project Managers and help strengthen project execution across the team.
